TERMS & CONDITIONS – QURBANI SERVICES

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of Qurbani services ("Services") by House of Qurbani Ltd ("we", "us", "our") to the customer ("you", "your"). By placing an order, making payment, or using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full.

1. NATURE OF SERVICE

1.1 We facilitate Qurbani (Uḍḥiyah) services on behalf of customers through approved suppliers, abattoirs, farms, and charitable distribution partners.

1.2 The Service includes procurement, slaughter, and distribution in accordance with Islamic principles as advised by our scholars and partners.

1.3 We act as an agent/facilitator and do not personally perform the slaughter.

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 By placing an order, you confirm that:
• You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract
• The Qurbani is obligatory or voluntary according to your own religious understanding

2.2 We do not provide individual fiqh rulings; customers are responsible for ensuring suitability for their circumstances.

3. ORDERS & PAYMENT

3.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking.

3.2 No order is confirmed until payment has been successfully received and cleared.

3.3 Prices are fixed at the time of payment and include facilitation and operational costs unless stated otherwise.

4. STRICT NON-REFUND & NON-CHANGE POLICY

4.1 ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL.

4.2 Once payment is made, services are strictly:
• Non-refundable
• Non-transferable
• Non-changeable

4.3 This applies without exception, including but not limited to:
• Change of mind
• Personal circumstances
• Errors in intention or naming
• Travel delays
• Illness
• Visa issues
• Missed deadlines
• Dissatisfaction with personal expectations

4.4 This policy is necessary due to:
• Advance livestock procurement
• Fixed supplier contracts
• Time-sensitive slaughter schedules during the days of Qurbani

4.5 By proceeding with payment, you expressly waive any right to chargeback, cancellation, or refund request.

5. INTENTIONS (NIYYAH) & CUSTOMER DETAILS

5.1 You are responsible for ensuring that:
• The intention (niyyah) is correct at the time of booking
• All submitted names and details are accurate

5.2 We are not responsible for errors provided by the customer.

6. SLAUGHTER & ISLAMIC COMPLIANCE

6.1 All animals are slaughtered in accordance with Islamic guidelines as confirmed by our partners.

6.2 Slaughter may take place at any point during the prescribed days of Qurbani, subject to logistics and capacity.

6.3 Exact timing of slaughter cannot be guaranteed.

7. DISTRIBUTION

7.1 Distribution is carried out locally in eligible regions based on need and logistics.

7.2 Customers generally do not receive meat, unless explicitly stated in writing.

7.3 Distribution methods and beneficiaries are determined by operational necessity.

8. PROOF & CONFIRMATION

8.1 Where available, confirmation of completion may be provided.

8.2 Photos, videos, or certificates are not guaranteed and are subject to supplier availability.

8.3 Absence of proof does not invalidate completion of Qurbani.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

9.1 We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions
• Disease outbreaks
• Supply chain disruption
• Political instability

9.2 In such cases, we will endeavour to complete the Qurbani where reasonably possible.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

10.1 Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific Qurbani service.

10.2 We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or emotional losses.

11. COMPLAINTS

11.1 Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the Qurbani period ending.

11.2 Complaints do not entitle customers to refunds or compensation.

12. DATA PROTECTION

12.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with UK data protection laws.

12.2 Data is used solely for service delivery, compliance, and record-keeping. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

13. GOVERNING LAW

13.1 These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

13.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

14. ACCEPTANCE

14.1 By making payment, you confirm:
• You have read these Terms
• You understand the non-refund and non-change policy
• You accept full responsibility for your booking

ALL QURBANI PAYMENTS ARE FINAL. ONCE PAID, SERVICES ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE, AND NON-CHANGEABLE.
